Flew into Bangor on our trip to Acadia this past fall and decided to try this place before driving to Bar Harbor. The service was very good and the view from the small dining room is incredible. The food was to die for. We had lobster rolls and crab rolls and also got fried oysters. The fries were also really good, we couldn't stop eating. Definitely will be back

While the meal was a bit of sticker shock initially, I don't think I have ever motorboated a lobster roll before. This was truly a "blink and you miss it" kind of place that the outside does no justice for the amazing food on the inside. Friendly staff, but very tight surroundings. Very limited seating but well worth the wait if you have to wait. Would bring people here should I travel back to Maine with others.

The seafood platter is huge and can definitely feed 2-3 people. The lobster roll was also really good and fries were good. Service was good and everyone was nice.

Ubered to here from the Bangor airport and it was worth the trip! I had the lobster roll and it came with crunchy delicious fries and coleslaw as well. The lobster roll ($31) was overflowing with lobster and was lightly flavored with sauce so you mainly taste the lobster itself. Service was great and they checked in on me a few times. The restaurant is small, but I got seated right away since I went around 4pm. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for a good lobster roll.

Tiny and cute little restaurant! The lobster roll was overstuffed and only $31 with fries and another side. Green beans were pretty normal so maybe try a different side. The fries were crispy, which is always great! Service was fast, parking was easy, definitely worth the stop!

I got the lobster salad. I can't believe I didn't take a photo but it was consistent to all the other photo's on yelp. The portion was HUGE with very little mayo. Best lobster I've had in such a long time! Set on the ledge of the river, it's so beautiful. Best lobster in Bangor/Brewer for sure!

If you're in the Brewer area of Maine, this is a must! Best lobsta roll I've had and the fish fry (haddock cod) was perfectly cooked and unmatched. The location is small but I would wait to be seated. The staff were friendly and attentive. My only regrets was not eating here more Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.

Found the Eagles Nest through Yelp! The lobster roll was the best we had in Maine. Hack: if you plan on sharing, order it as-is. When you ask for two buns, the portion size of lobster appeared much smaller and was served in a small bowl. It was still generous, but definitely more lobster comes in the single bun to make it look full (did not take a picture of the portion size on the two bun lobster roll me, but trust me on it). The one downfall is some sides like the green beans and the mashed potatoes come out of a can. I'd suggest sticking with the fries and slaw. Tartar sauce was nothing special but not offensive (it was fine to average). Service was good! We came back a second time and we were remembered, which is a nice touch. There seem to be many regulars that the staff has gotten to know, too. The place is kind of small but it has great views!
